Beacon
Starting with the 2019-2020 membership year, we have been using the U3A Beacon tool to manage our Members and groups data. For the 2024-2025 we have extended our Beacon use to include Finance. We may later provide a members portal into Beacon so that members can view and edit their own personal information. See the Beacon Website for further information on Beacon.
As Beacon contains personal data about members, access to it other than by the members portal is strictly limited. Requests for access should be made to the Harpenden u3a Website Editor and Beacon Administrator. Requests must explain what level of access is needed with a justification as to why it is needed.

Work on updates, enhancements and bug fixes for Beacon continues although planning for a replacement system has started.
