Whist

Coordinator: Sue Worwood

Contact Whist for further details.

The Whist Group meets on Tuesdays at a members home. We start at 2pm and end at 4pm. Whilst we shall continue to be known as the whist group for the foreseeable future, the group have said they would like the opportunity to play Canasta, which we did in the run up to Christmas.  We all enjoyed playing canasta so much so we will now only be playing the odd game of whist, but will be concentrating on canasta.

The actual dates of our meetings in 2020 are as follows:- Jan 14,28, Feb 11,25, March 10,24, April 7,28, May 12,26, June 9,23 July 7,21, Aug 4,18,  Sept, 1,15,29,  Oct 13. 27, Nov 10,24,  Dec 8,22.

We are a friendly group, and usually end the afternoon with tea and biscuits.  We are always pleased to have new members join us.
