The group meets fortnightly in member’s homes and continues with a varied programme. Individual members choose various videos or DVDs from the U3A published list which has a wide range of artists from many centuries and many lands.
The U3A volunteer precedes the video with a presentation and biography of the artist detailing the things that had influence on their work. This is followed by the video or DVD which last about 50 minutes and an interesting discussion usually follows. We end the session with tea. As we meet in member’s homes we feel 10 is our limit due to space constraints and to be able to see the DVD clearly so we are currently closed to new members.
