Vacancies: several

We are a friendly group with approx 30 active members, meeting in Room 5 at the Quinborne Community Centre, Ridgacre Rd at 10.30am on the 3rd or 4th Monday of alternate months.
Jan 29th, March 25th, May 20th, July 22nd, Sept 30th and Nov 25th.

Visits to local places of interest take place on the intervening months, on Mondays where possible, depending on site opening hours.

Talks during 2023 included Highbury Hall, Moseley; "Colonel Carless and his part in the English Civil War"; A History of Birmingham Trams; the River Rea and Georgian Worcester.

We have enjoyed guided visits to Hagley Hall; The Avoncroft Museum of Buildings; The Roundhouse and The Norton Museum Collection, Bromsgrove.

Visits must be prebooked and paid for at the preceding meeting. Any enquiries can be referred to Jane Child at Local History.

There is some car parking at the Quinborne Centre and it is on the 24 bus route.
