Groups

Groups are the main activity of our u3a along with the popular Monthly Meetings. Members meet to develop skills and knowledge, pursue a hobby, get out and about or just socialise. Groups generally meet monthly in the daytime, often in local sheltered housing centres or member's homes. No tutors are employed.

Only members can attend groups, although anyone who is considering joining us is welcome to sample a group meeting.

Detailed information about groups and their convenors are in our newsletter. We are always keen to start new groups - if you would like to start one the Committee will give you support in setting one up (see link on the right).
