Welcome to Hamilton & District u3a
Membership of the U3A is open to people from Hamilton and the surrounding area including Bothwell, Blantyre, Uddingston, Motherwell, Larkhall and Lesmahagow. There are no geographical limits.
How to join
You can join Hamilton & District u3a at any of our monthly meetings by requesting a membership pack from a committee member. The annual membership subscription is £20. This fee entitles you to attend the monthly meetings and any groups which are of interest to you, providing there is a space in the group.
Monthly Meetings
Our monthly meeting is held on the third Thursday of each month in St John's Centre, Hamilton from 2pm till 4pm Meetings are from September to June inclusive. Visitors can attend two meetings before joining as a full member.
Interest Groups
Like all other u3as, we draw upon the enthusiasm, knowledge, experience and skills of our own members to organise and provide a wide range of interest groups and activities. Our groups are set up by the members and any member can start a group - you do not need to be an 'expert' More information can be found on the Groups Page.
