At Papercraft we aim to make things out of cards and paper such as birthday cards, boxes and decorations.
We meet once a month on the third Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.
Because we meet in people’s houses, we are a small group consisting of just eight members, although not everyone can come to each meeting. Some of us have done papercraft for a while others are new to the craft. Just two of us have a large enough table to get round so we alternate between the two venues.
In turn, one member plans the session and brings the materials.
The host provides the coffee. The Leader is reimbursed for the materials and the host is reimbursed for the cost of the coffee.
There is a need for specialist craft equipment but our newer members have normally been able to borrow spare equipment for the session. People have gradually just purchased the things they really need. Generally our members are very generous and share things like glue, sticky tape, peel-offs and any other thing they have forgotten to bring.
At the moment we could not fit another person round the table so we are unable to take more members at the moment. However it is always advisable to contact the group coordinator to see what the current position is.
