RUMMIKUB - A SOCIAL AND FUN GAME
Activities are currently on hold.
We hold it at a members home once a month on a Tuesday morning from 9.30am for a couple of hours or so with a break for coffee of course.
It needs 2, 3 or 4 players. It is played with tiles and was invented by a man who lived in Israel where ordinary cards were banned.
Each player has 14 tiles - the aim is to lay down your tiles in runs or sets (as the picture shows) and be the first to get rid of your hand. Very easy to learn although it makes your brain work. No maths involved! Warning - it can become adddictive!
It certainly fits in with the u3a motto of LEARN, LAUGH AND LIVE!
