Halstead & District

German

The German group continues well with 5 keen members. We use the 'Willkommen' German course book and its associated 'Activity' book which we have purchased individually and the CD's from the Tutor Pack which the U3A has purchased on our behalf. Members are also encouraged to use the Memrise internet German course to help with their vocabulary in words, phrases and sentences. For details of where we are up to check the links to the right where session reviews are stored.

For Halstead U3A AGM, 2016, we had a good stand which was viewed by many. This included a couple of people whose native language is German. We hope they will be able to drop in and give us a hand with conversation. It was felt that people were attracted by the display of fruit and veg along with the Bratwurst which people were invited to try!
