Meet up for a coffee & a chat and the opportunity if you so wish for a game of Scrabble, Dominoes etc and then possibly stay for lunch.

August Day Out
The Committee decided that the August Day out will be to the Piece Hall
in Halifax. This monumental building embodies Halifax’s impressive Georgian Heritage. It is one of the most extraordinary buildings in Britain.
It was built for the trading of pieces of woven woollen cloth.
In 2017 the building reopened following a multi – milliion pound transformation
Now the great open square is surrounded by shops, Cafes, bars and galleries.
Tours of the building are available.
The date will be Wednesday 14th August.
Cost of the trip will be :- Coach £12.00 plus £7.00 pp for the optional guided tour.
