ComTech1: Boost Your IT Skills

WHEN 2nd Friday of the month at 10am

WHERE The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth

Halesworth U3A Community Technology Group is now working with The Cut Arts Centre. The group’s four personal computers, which run Microsoft Windows 10, are now in the Media Centre at The Cut. This offers us new opportunities including help to develop your computing skills

COMMUNITY TECHNOLOGY 1. Boost Your IT SKILLS

Would you like help to develop your computing skills? ComTech1 is a self-help group where we learn with and from others. The group is a joint venture between Halesworth U3A and The Cut. We meet once a month to exchange problems and ideas and we have The Cut’s technical officer, Peter Spedding, to help out when required. Whatever your level of skill we believe that everyone in the group has something to offer. Whether you are just starting; whether there are aspects of PC use in which you would like to become more skilled; or whether you feel you are pretty good yet could still benefit from the opportunity to be a bit clearer about what you are doing, we would welcome you into our community. We don’t run fixed courses, if you let us know what you want, we will do our best to help. Whether it’s the basics of e-mail, or word processing, or searching the Internet – or anything else – we can offer support. Work will be done face-to-face at The Cut at our monthly meetings, We will also communicate between these meetings using WhatsApp.

CHARGES £2 per month to cover room fees.
