The group is self led. The group as a whole chooses the historical period we wish to study and each person researches an aspect of this period and the presents a paper to the group. It is up to each member how much they read around the main subject. We have mainly studied English history with a little Welsh and Scottish history as it touches on events in England. We began in 2006 since when we have studied Victorian England, the Plantagenets and the Civil War.
