Classical Music

Essentially the Classical Music group listens to classical music. Usually one member presents a programme of music which may be to a theme or simply pieces that will be of interest. The presenter gives some background to the composer and the piece, we then listen to the music. As long as the music comes within the category of “classical music” then anything goes, symphonic, chamber, choral, operatic, ancient and modern! We have been known to have the occasional quiz.
