Hadleigh Suffolk

Bird watching

This group has been cancelled until the current virus epidemic eases. Hope to see you all soon.

Leader Jean Jeram

Venue Various
We are a group of people who enjoy watching birds. We do not have an expert in the group but help each other with identification of the birds we see. Sometimes we just walk locally e.g. Hadleigh river walk, Broom Hill , but other times we go further afield, such as Lackford Lakes, and occasionally we have a guided walk at reserves such as Fingringhoe Wick. Most of our walks are just in the morning and we use ‘car share’ to get to the various venues, usually meeting at Hadleigh swimming pool car park. As birds do not sit in car parks waiting for us our members must be prepared for a fair bit of walking but this is all part of the enjoyment of our lovely countryside and the wildlife inhabiting it.
