Groups

These are our interest groups. Many groups meet at the leader's home, with others, such as physical activities, which require a larger space, taking place in local public venues.

Owing to limitations on meeting space, or the nature of the activity, some groups are full. In this case you may wish to initiate a second group. If you have a particular interest for which no group exists, you may be interested in organising one. You don't need to be an expert and help is available. Please contact the group co-ordinator (see the Contacts page).

To take part in any group, or lead one, you must be a member of the U3A first. Please contact the Membership Secretary via the Contacts Page if you wish to join us.

Click on the group name to see a further page of information about it. Where the name of a group is shaded, this indicates it is currently full. Leaders usually hold a waiting list, so it is worth making contact if a group you would like to join is full.

Groups may be pursuing their activities through Zoom and will resume meeting if and when Covid regulations permit. It may still be possible to join a group at this time, so do feel free to approach the Group Leader via the Contacts Page.
