Tai chi

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tai chi classes were held over Zoom.

Then from September to December 2021 and in April 2022, Monday session returned to a new venue St Michael's Hall near London Fields and participants contributed towards the cost of hall hire.

From 16th May, Tai chi is back in its original venue Stamford Hill Library, every Monday from 13:30 to 14:30 (except Bank Holidays - library closed).

The Tai chi sessions are led by Verne Crawford.

Requirements
Tai chi is performed standing, although some exercises can be adapted for people sitting on a chair.

If you have health problems and are worried as to whether you should do this kind of exercise, it would be best to consult your doctor.

There may be an opportunity to join this class if you have already done some tai chi; this will depend on the style that you have previously learned.
