Talks and Walks
Venue: - Walks: Locations to be announced; Talks: Methodist Church Hall - 2nd Friday of the month, Refreshments are served from 1000 and the talks begin at 1030.
Activity Charge: £1 for the Walks and £2 for the Talks

Further details: The aim is to look at various aspects of life in this area, both past and present. During April through September the group meets in various locations for guided, informative walks; numbers for these will be restricted to 15. During October through December the group meets in the Methodist Hall for talks/presentations. Details of these will be published in the Newsletter and on the website, and all members of GU3A will be invited to join us.
During this year we have enjoyed heritage walks in the Dorman Museum, Redcar, Redcar Cemetary, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough Town Hall and Linthorpe Cemetary.
We are grateful to our walk leaders: Gill Moore,Phil Philo,Jane Forman,Mike McCann, Liz Hayward and Ian Stubbs.

The talks take place in the Methodist Hall on Westgate. Refreshments are served from 1000 and the talks begin at 1030. Cost is £2. All members of any U3A and their guests are very welcome to join us.
