We have been running Tai Chi and Qi Gong sessions on Zoom for the last 6 months: every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11.30am-12.10pm.
With all the restrictions of the Covid winter ahead of us, we would like to open up our Zoom sessions to GU3A members who would like to give Tai Chi a go.
To help members decide if Tai Chi is suitable for them, they should consider that it is a physical exercise and the sessions involve bending, twisting, stretching, and balancing. It is a standing exercise and space restrictions at home limit us to taking 2 steps in each direction. If someone already practises a physical activity such as Pilates, Yoga, dance or are a member of one of the Walking Groups, they should be good to go.
Prior to lockdown we had never heard of Zoom let alone used it. That is probably the case for most of our Zoom group. We can provide support for anyone who wants to give it a try.

There is no waiting list for the Zoom sessions.
