Visiting Country Churches
We visit a different country church each month from March until November with our annual planning meeting in January.
We usually meet on the third Thursday of the month. Each month a different member organises that particular visit.
A member of the church gives us a talk about the history and architecture of the building, followed by a tour and refreshments.
We travel in members cars meeting at the church at 2.30 pm and are normally home by 4.30pm. Non drivers are usually accommodated.
The usual cost for each member is £5 for a donation to the church and £2 to £5 for refreshments, depending on where we go.
This is a friendly group and new members are always welcome.
