Do you take photographs? If you do at any level from happy snapper to more advanced worker then this is the group for you. It is held at at a local venue in Grantham on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 10 am.
It has the following aspirations:
To encourage and develop members photographic skills and offer an opportunity to share their work.
Presentations by members and guests.
Cost £2-3 per meeting to include coffee/ tea and biscuits.
Opportunities to obtain technical advice from other members.
Equipment needed: camera (can be something very basic) printer or access to printing facilities like those at Boots.
Monthly print competition on a set subject judged by members culminating in a photographer of the year citation.
Rules are simple and will be explained to new members. Simply they are as follows:
Monthly set subject
Print to be no larger than 5”x7” preferably in a cream card mount.
Photograph to have been taken within 60 days of the meeting.
No manipulations allowed except cropping,brightness and contrast.
Photograph judging to be by all members on a points system.
Separately members can bring in several other photographs with no size or editing restrictions for display and discussion. We all learn a lot from this process. You do not need to be an advanced worker to enter either the competition or display photographs.

Third Thursday of the month at 10.00-12 noon.Free parking facilities.
There is no upper limit on membership numbers.
