Local History
This group meets in the afternoon of the second Wednesday in the month at various places out and about usually in the local area.
The group aim is to visit places of historical interest within a 40 mile radius; members use their own cars and self-fund each trip. We also arrange talks given by local people with great knowledge of the area and its history.
The longer trips include a lunch stop and a welcome tea and cake shop is always found for shorter trips.
