Ever wanted to learn to play an instrument? Well this is your opportunity.
If you are interested and would like to be part of a friendly, outgoing group of individuals, enjoy music and a sing along, then this is for you.
From absolute beginners to the more accomplished, all are welcomed.
Tuition will be on a group basis which will be led by an experienced player, who we will meet by arrangement. In between there will be ample opportunity to put into practice, as a group, what we have learnt!
If you are interested in joining the group then contact Anne Lawson, deputy Co-ordinator via the message button at the top right of this page and let her know if
• you are an absolute beginner or not,
• you already have your own Ukulele (they start at about £19.00) or if you would need to borrow one.
So why not give it a try, you won’t regret it!
The group meets in Allithwaite Community Centre at 10 a.m. for 2 hours on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from September to April. Between May and August meetings are held in the evenings with days and venues varying.
