Grange & District

Discussion

Our group meets at 10 am on the first Tuesday of each month, to discuss topics of local, national or global interest. Subjects are chosen by the group, leading to lively discussion, freely expressed in a convivial atmosphere.

Face-to-face meetings regrettably had to be suspended because of the pandemic, but the group is currently meeting virtually, using Zoom. Recent sessions have discussed fake news, whether the works of Shakespeare should be taught in secondary schools, privatization, fair trade vs free trade, and whether we’re yet any the wiser about Coronavirus.

We’re shortly to take our summer break, but hope to resume face-to-face meetings in September, probably in the Grange Institute. New members are always welcome.
