Playing Country Dance Tunes
This group is led by local fiddle, concertina, guitar and melodeon player Gavin Atkin on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month at 10.30am at the Goudhurst Club.
Learn to play English style country dance tunes - aiming to learn tunes together and playing at a crisp style at a steady dance-able pace. If you have an instrument lying around, this could be a sociable opportunity to get it out and use it. A broad range of instruments can work well. This is a great fun group and you do not need to have music reading skills to join in.
The group also meets for a friendly evening of playing tunes from 8pm or so at The Goudhurst Club on the third Wednesday of the month.
