Julia is the main Contact for the group and is very happy for new members to join the group to sample this interesting and peaceful hobby. (Please email using the blue bird icon above right.)
The group regularly visits Titchfield Haven our beautiful local Bird Reserve. Since the closure of the coffee shop and restaurant, the group have decided to visit some other locations eg the Gosport Wildgrounds, the Hamble, the solar powered boat trip at Itchenor. These will be confirmed in events and by email to group members. Beginners and experienced birdwatchers are all very welcome to come along.
Payment for entry per session for concessions varies between venues.
Binoculars can be borrowed for a session free of charge at Titchfield Haven.
You can check on the Go Birding Hampshire site to see which birds have been seen and where.
NB Special Note
The coffee shop and restaurant are now closed at Titchfield Haven so please bring your own refreshments if required. Toilet facilities are still available at the rear of the Visitor Centre. Facilities will vary at other locations.
