GOSPORT INTEREST GROUPS

All our current groups are listed below - click on a subject and you will be taken to the page.

Please contact the group leader if you are interested in joining a group.

Most groups meet at least once a month, usually on a weekday morning or afternoon with a few weekend and evening groups. Some groups meet in members' homes and others in meeting rooms around the Gosport area. At the bottom of this page there is an overview of when all meetings take place.

Whatever your interest, we hope you will find it here but if not, we are always open to suggestions for expanding our range of groups. You can contact the Group Co-ordinator,(using the bluebird link above) to talk about your ideas. You may find it useful to download the New Interest Group Proposal form.

Mobility and Access

Please contact the particular Group leader who can advise on specific requirements for a member to safely attend that group. Some activities, for example, walking groups and day trips, do require a certain level of mobility. Also, accessibility for any group meeting in a member’s home may be limited.

However, if there is anything that prevents YOU from attending a particular group or meeting please let us know as there may be a solution! Go to the Contacts page to send an email or look in the News Update to find details of the current committee members.

Hampshire South Central Network

As well as running our own groups and events we are part of the Hampshire South Central Network. Visit this network, made up of local u3as, to find out about opportunities to attend other events being held in our region.
