Family History

The Family History group started in December 2018 and meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Group Leader's house. Current members range from someone who's not done any family history research at all to others who've been researching their family for more than 20 years and are now starting to convert what they've discovered into stories about their ancestors.

As our focus is on helping each other by sharing what we've been doing in our own research and by suggesting ways forward when we've come up against 'brick walls' we limit the number at each meeting to 6.

Due to the level of interest in this new group we've split into a morning group (10am- noon) and an afternoon group (2pm-4pm) both of which are already full.

If you'd like to join the group please still get in touch with the Group Leader who will add you to a waiting list. It doesn’t matter where you are in your search for your ancestors, all you need is an enquiring mind and a desire to know more about your Family History.
