French (Improvers)
From Beginners to Improvers in a decade! We started as almost beginners and have progressed to the Improvers stage by using the BBC French Course 'The French Experience' which uses not only the more traditional text book but audio means as well so that we can get a real flavour of French. We recount things we have done as a question and answer session so that we can have a conversation and look at various point of grammar to help us make sense of what we are trying to say. We also look at French culture, cuisine, geography and political system to try and understand not only the language but the French themselves.
Now and again we have a bring and share lunch obviously with a French theme.
We currently have space for a few more people but you must have some knowledge of French however rusty.
