Cryptic Crosswords meets on the first Thursday of the month at St Mary de Lode church.
People often say, "How can you possibly have fun sitting and doing crosswords?" But we do.
It is a really friendly group and although the thought of solving a Jumbo Times cryptic crossword may seem alarming, we all help each other and nobody works alone.
Sometimes when I give what I think are helpful clues to the answer the members say they are more confused than ever but we can usually have a laugh about it. We can all learn something from the experience and our vocabularies are certainly improving!
