Gloucester & District

Poetry Group

For the first term of 2024, our face-to-face seminars are on the penultimate Friday morning of the month:
** January 19, February 16, March 22 **
We're continuing to discuss poets represented in the anthology 'The Nation's Favourite Poems' (BBC Books, 1996) which is generally easy to get hold of secondhand. Our meeting venue is The Folk of Gloucester (Bishop Hooper’s House, 99-101 Westgate Street, GL1 2PG). However, please check with Sarah for confirmation of the place and time if you don't attend regularly. Although we inevitably refer to previous sessions, new members are always welcome to come along as a taster without committing to future meetings.

We're also meeting online on the last Friday morning of the month over the winter:
** January 26, February 23 **
An email goes to all members to remind people who might like to attend.

If you'd like to find out more, don't hesitate to contact Sarah (group leader) by using the pigeon on the top right this page.
