Bexley U3A has 500 members and is celebrating its 25th birthday in 2017. The Group has a monthly meeting with a speaker, two socials each year and a monthly newsletter. There are more than fifty subject groups studying a wide variety of subjects such as languages, family history, music, creative writing, Scrabble, armchair travellers and heritage railways. More groups could be formed with the help of volunteer convenors so if you have a subject you would like to pass on to others you would find a warm welcome.

Joining our U3A also gives you access to Shared Learning Projects, where a group of people from different U3As together work on an extended piece of research, usually linked to a museum or gallery. There are also regional study days and regional and national summer schools. Crossness Beam Engine
