Members - Local U3As

This is a list of local U3As that are members of our Network. They do not cover specific geographical areas and often overlap. If you are thinking of joining or just would like to know more this is a good place to start. Look at the ones nearest you and look at their website to see what they provide. It might be sensible to look at others in your vicinity as all will offer a different range of subjects, If you are attracted to more than one you can join them both!

Please note that all U3As are curtailing their face to face activities because of the coronavirus situation. Some have put in place on line learning or are employing other strategies to keep in touch with their members. We will update this site on a regular basis meanwhile you can use the contact forms to ask about your local U3A.

Most U3As have a system where you can try them out before you join, if you want to take up this offer please contact the relevant U3A directly. If you are interested in joining a U3A to study a particular subject you should check two things, firstly does the U3A run that subject group and secondly is it currently full.
