Our German Conversation Group meets at 2pm on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. As from August 2023 our group will meet in the

The building is on Byres Road, 2 streets down from Highburgh Road, opposite Lawrence Street.

The conversation group is not intended for complete beginners in the language, but our group caters for members with a range of abilities. All are welcome and we support one another in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our conversation topics cover life and culture in German speaking countries – Austria, Germany and Switzerland - in as many aspects as possible. Fresh ideas always welcome.
