Glasgow West End

Walking with a Bus Pass

Walking with a Bus Pass

This group is for those who feel comfortable walking 4-5 miles in a couple of hours, longer if we stop to admire points of interest. Some walks will be local, needing no public transport, others within the Greater Glasgow area will involve a short bus or train journey. The advantage of public transport is that we can do linear walks as well as circular routes.

We meet on alternate Mondays. The meeting place will vary according to the particular walk, but we usually meet in the West End at around 9.30am. The first few walks will be organised by Hazel and Ruth, the group co-ordinators, but we hope that members of the group will take turns and volunteer to lead walks.

Please get in touch if you are interested in joining us. We will then send out emails with details of each walk a few days in advance and we will ask you to let us know if you are coming as we have to limit the numbers on any walk to 15 maximum.
