KURLING
We are regularly attracting over 16 members per week and are again using the card system devised by Walter Blow so very carefully to ensure that all members get a fair share of playing. The noise level continues to be high and we do have a great deal of fun.
On Sunday March 23rd 18 of our members took part in a cut-throat competition and the final winners were Doreen Rimington and Brian Caswell. There was, as usual, a fair amount of laughter and one or two claims about some of the stones, but everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. The event was completed by a lunch for 20 of us at the Golf Club, which was certainly enjoyed by all.
If you are interested in seeing what it's all about and/or would like to join we do still have spaces for new members. Pop in and visit: you will be very welcome - Morton Village Hall on Mondays from 10.00 - 12.00
