Memory Course

A memory course is held on demand about once each year. Numbers are limited to twelve people. The course is run over four sessions, each one lasting 90 minutes. You need to be available for all four sessions in order to participate.

The main focus is to understand how your memory works and how we can employ strategies to cope with mild memory loss. The course aims to be fun and informative. It isn't about quizzes or 'putting people 'on the spot'.

We use a booklet formulated by Aughton and Ormskirk U3A. There is a mixture of brief presentations, discussions and group work.

High Praise for the Memory Course – a review from one of our members:

"I recently attended the U3A memory course run by Kath Jones at the Coronation Hall. There were four morning sessions over 10 days. I didn't know what to expect - could such a course be fun? It was enormous fun, as well as being very informative and well run by Kath. I thoroughly recommend the course."

Please contact me, Kath Jones if you wish to discuss the course.
