Four Border Abbeys

Book Group

Group Leader: Ruth MacKay
Meets: 3rd Thursday of each month at 2pm
Venue: Members' homes

NOV 2019 This group is currently FULL but names are being welcomed to start up a second group. Please contact the Groups Co-ordinator via the Contacts page.

The group discusses a book, fiction or non fiction, chosen by the meeting host: sharing information about other books read during that month.

We have read a variety of books, old and new, fiction and non-fiction, including The Axeman’s Jazz, a detective novel set in 1920s New Orleans, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and Laurie Lee’s As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning. We also share recommendations of other books we have enjoyed.
New members are always welcome.
