4 members attended the initial meeting at the Forest Town Arena on Wednesday 11th April.

Discussion at the meeting took place on the following:
Distance for walks will average 3-5 miles.
The meeting place will be either the starting point of the walk or Forest Town arena.

Members will need to make their own arrangements for lifts but initially if you let Marilyn know you can pick someone up from Forest Town arena it would be appreciated, likewise let Marilyn know if you need a lift.

It was agreed a voluntary donation to the driver should be made each time for petrol.

The walk start time from the starting place, will be 10.30 am.
To enable updates for each walk emails are needed where possible, these can be sent directly to Marilyn: mjrfern@gmail.com
It would be helpful if members without email could liaise with friends who have email to get updated information - or check this website page for details of walks.
Marilyn will lead some of the walks but members need to come forward to lead further walks - Please contact Marilyn if you can offer help.

Volunteer leaders will be needed for ongoing walks.

It is advisable to carry your ICE card at all times but Please bring them with you on the walks.

U3A policy is not to bring dogs.

More leaders are required to facilitate some of the walks - and please bring with you details of potential walks.
