We have now decided to have lunch at West Notts. College (Refined Dining) every two months as the menu changes every two months and it’s easy to get to and the price is £10 for 3 courses plus coffee, this was suggested by members on our last visit, personally we think it’s great, we will visit other venues in the alternate months.

Lunch at the Ciao Bella - August 2017

On arrival at the Ciao Bella Restaurant Mansfield, although a few of us arrived early, we were welcomed with a smile and “would you like a coffee whist you are waiting”.
The rest of the party arrived, 26 in total and the staff showed everyone to the tables with a genuine welcome and a smile.
The meal was served very quickly and afterwards everyone commentated on how much they had enjoyed the meal and could we book again.
Denise made a booking for early December.
To sum up, excellent food served by Tam, Michael and Romany nothing was too much trouble, this was my first time there and I was also pleasantly surprised at the decor and thought that had gone into making us feel very welcome. This one I would give 10/10.

In June we had lunch at Launay’s, Edwinstowe, a 16th century cottage and orangery,
we enjoyed an Anglo French menu which included Moules and Frites, game pie,
Trout, Skegness blue Quiche, the food was excellent as was the venue and the service.

LUNCHEON GROUP JULY 25 PEOPLE ATTENDED A MEAL AT THE LITTLE JOHN.

The lunch club meeting in April was at the Junction where we all had a thoroughly enjoyable meal as you will see from the photos.

Our third lunch date was on the 22nd of March, 29 members enjoyed a lunch served and prepared by the students at the West Notts College. The college opened especially for us, the students were nervous but very professional.

Thanks again to Denise for making sure everyone had lifts that needed them and everyone was happy with the meal.
Marlene on behalf of Denise.

On February the 25th 30 members enjoyed a very good lunch at the Red Brick House.

26 people came to Our First Lunch club at the Bella Vita, Ollerton,
