Forest Town & District U3A
Our Logo shows The Avenues which were the first houses built in Forest Town and are still evident today.
The houses were built between 1903 and 1909 for the first miners and their families, families that were the foundation stones of this mining village which has expanded and grown ever since.
In October 2015 new foundations were laid when people congregated in St.Alban's Church and established the Forest Town & District U3A, already this is growing and providing new opportunities for people, just as the village did all those years ago.
