History Group
A small group of FOD U3A members met up on the 28 July with a view to starting up a history group, that will cover various topics and not just focus on the Forest of Dean. The group agreed that individual members of the group would share information about items of interest by email, due to the costs of hiring a room. However, they were in agreement they would meet up at a local venue (to be agreed) once a month. While in the early stages of development the group will try to develop a routine for the meeting that will hopefully enable the group to expand to a point where hiring a room becomes viable.
