Welcome to Flitwick and District U3A
Welcome to Flitwick and District U3A, formed on 31 January 2003. We have over 500 members and on 5 July 2016, this U3A was entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1168040 .
Visitors and new members are assured of a warm welcome to our monthly meetings, normally held at The Rufus Centre, Flitwick, at 10:30 on the second Thursday of each month for a talk by a visiting speaker or one of our own members. The entrance fee is £2.00 for members and £3.00 for guests; Membership costs £10 and runs from February each year (see Links for Membership application form)
Please note that any visitor attending a general or group meeting more than twice will be asked to enrol as a full member.
We currently run over 50 groups and activities as listed on our Groups page.
We produce a Newsletter for members three times a year. Members also receive Third Age Matters five times a year from our parent organisation, Third Age Trust.

Our policy is that members pay for the services they use. Our annual subscription is a modest £10, and the meeting charge for most groups is £1.
