All our General Meetings are held at the Rufus Centre, starting at 10:30 and followed by free tea/coffee and biscuits

Members are charged £2 per meeting.

Guests are welcome but are asked to pay £3 and will be asked to become members after two attendances.

Tue Feb 18th Lers go Potty with Denby.
The visit to Denby includes a guided tour of the factory and Craftroom.
The Denby Village has an excellent restaurant plus an assortment of shops selling cookware, a factory outlet, gift emporium and lots more.

Thu Mar 12th BOOKINGS OPEN FOR TRIP TO THURSFORD in December
Thu Mar 19th BMW Mini Factory.
This is a factory tour of the BMW Mini factory in Oxford. The walking tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, and the distance is up to 3.5 kilometres.
NB Due to the type of equipment in the factory, people with heart pacemakers will not be allowed on the tour.

Wed Apr 29th Avoncroft Museum.
An open air museum of historic buildings from the locality spanning 700 years of Midlands heritage. The site covers 19 acres of flat walking on grass and gravel paths, there is seating dotted around the site. Coffee will be served while we listen to a guide. A light lunch is also included. In the afternoon we go on to visit Jinny Ring Craft Centre.

Tue May 19th Beth Chatto Gardens and Ha'penny Pier
Fri Jun 26th Blenheim Flower Show.
Combined entrance ticket. The Flower Show is on grass which can be uneven. The coach park is a short distance to the show likewise the distance to the Palace from the show.

Wed Jul 15th Sezincote & Moreton-on-the-Marsh.
The house and extensive gardens were the whim of Colonel John Cockerell, grandson of the diarist Samuel Pepys, who amassed a fortune in the East India Company. His brother Samuel, an architect was commissioned, to design and build an Indian house on the edge of the Cotswolds in the Mogul style of Rajasthan, complete with minarets, peacock-tail windows, jali-work railings and pavilions. Sezincote is credited with influencing the design of the Brighton pavilion after a visit by The Prince Regent in 1807.
