Group LeaderPeter Johnson

The Photography Group has been blessed with excellent weather for many weeks now and our members have taken advantage of the opportunities afforded. In April, our project was "Little and Large" and we also to continue our work with Photoshop Elements learning to improve photographs for display. May saw us visit Eling when we visited the re-furbished Eling Tide Mill which was very impressive. The May project was "Colour in my Camera". In June several members visited Beaulieu to watch the Seine Net Fishing which produced a good haul of fish for the rowers efforts and which was well photographed by our members. The additional project was Architecture which produced many photographs of different buildings taken both locally and on members' travels. As previously mentioned, we have room for more U3A members who enjoy photography and wish to learn more about photographic techniques through projects, visits and computer-based exercises. Anyone wishing to have further information please contact Peter Johnson on 02380890582.
