The coach for the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford on Friday 28th September is fully booked.
If you have booked & find you cannot go for any reason please let me know as soon as possible as I have 2 people on the waiting list.
The coach for Salisbury Christmas market on Friday 30th November is also fully booked & I have 2 people on the waiting list.
Our visit to St. Nicholas Church, Brockenhurst which use to be spelt Brokenhurst was very interesting & informative. We were greeted by Diana who gave us tea/coffee & Anzac biscuits which were yummy! What a good start before the talk on the history of the oldest church in the New Forest.
If there is anyone who would like to visit the church & couldn’t make it on the day, the church is open to the public every day between 2-5pm as long as there isn’t a wedding or service taking place.
I (Vivienne) may organise a visit to another Church sometime in the future as quite a few people have shown an interest already.

FROM THE COMMITTEE
The individual group leaders, when they book an outing, very often make a financial commitment. They book seats or places on the basis that if someone has put their name down to attend a function then they intend to attend and therefore will pay for that place. If, subsequently, the member cannot attend then the individual member is responsible to dispose of that ticket, preferably within the group but outside if necessary. Occasionally Group Leaders are able to refund some cash but that is due to the circumstances at the time and cannot happen very often.
The rule therefore must be that if you have put your name down to attend a function then unless it is withdrawn before the tickets are booked then the individual must pay for it.
Cheques only when you put your name down please.
