Laughter Yoga is more laughter than yoga. It is based on the notion that laughter is good for you even if it is not spontaneous. It was actually ‘invented’ by an Indian GP as a means of trying to reduce the pills he was giving to people. The yoga comprises a bit of a breathing exercise and a short meditation at the end (if you have a mat to lie on, bring it!). The laughter part is rather like a lot of party games in quick succession.
