We meet on the third Thursday in the month at Albion Court in Exmouth.
At our last meeting we talked about the occupations of some of our ancestors. These included the inventor of the first windscreen wiper, lightermen on the Thames, coprolite mining (coprolite is fossilised dung which was used to make fertiliser), a perfumer and a martyred priest.
Future meetings will cover censuses, wills and the houses that our ancestors lived in.
Everybody is welcome be they beginners or the more experienced.
