Exe Valley

Mah Jong

Mah Jong may sound very foreign but it has considerable local appeal here in the Exe Valley U3A. We already have over twenty members, several of whom have bought their own sets and have taught non-U3A friends to play.

We are a mixture of experienced players, improvers and beginners and always welcome newcomers. We meet twice a month,on the 1st and 3rd Fridays, 2-5pm, and everyone soon gets to know each other and although we are always learning new moves, we don't take it all too seriously.

The group leader is Bunty Coffin. Please contact her at the monthly meeting for further information.

If you cannot get to our monthly meeting, please use the Contact Form on this website to request further information.

Newcomers are always welcome; if they know nothing about the game they start in our ongoing beginners group and then soon progress to join our improvers group.

We have over twenty regular players who come to one of our two sessions in the month but new players are welcome to attend both.

Mah jong in full flow. If you like board games you'll love Mah Jong. Battle is on!
