Group Leader – Tim Dyke
This lively group meets at Tim’s house each month on the 4th Thursday. For anyone interested in poetry, in any form, including song lyrics, from the classics to the very modern. We each choose 2 or 3 poems to read and discuss with our fellow group members on a theme that has been agreed upon at the previous meeting. Recent themes have ranged from April Fools to Unusual Valentines to Temperatures. We enjoy discussing the merits of different teas and biscuits in the break: Green or China tea? Florentines or chocolate gingers? Contact Tim if you’d like to join – we are full at the moment but vacancies come up every now and again.
