Meets: 3rd Thursday
Meeting every month for a 60 to 90 minute walk around a town's or village's history. Usually followed by lunch in a restaurant, or church hall, or a picnic Assemble at the Exeter main bus station for buses departing roughly between 9 30 to 11 a.m.
There is a plethora of towns - settlements in the County worth a write up and visit. Apart from the list/schedule below, there are-- Princetown, Honiton and Wolford Chapel, Dawlish, Teignmouth, Tiverton, Topsham, Barnstaple, Black Dog, Okehampton, Moretonhampstead, Topsham, Exmouth, and so on. Our group is always seeking new or old volunteers to lead in its quest to discover Devon. Tours can be kept to barebones-simple. Leaders are not expected to lecture on street corners for 90 minutes.
